Geoff Johns (b. January 25, 1973) is a comic book writer and producer renowned for his work on JSA and Green Lantern and the co-founder of DC Studios.
Professional History
Geoff Johns is an American comic book writer. He began his career as a production assistant for director Richard Donner. However, he switched to comic books when he traveled to New York City to the DC Comics offices. His first published comic book was the DCU Heroes Secret Files, for DC Comics, where he debuted his series Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E.. Johns has written countless DC Comics stories and has also worked on television shows and movies from the DC franchise including Justice League Unlimited, Smallville, Arrow, The Flash, Green Lantern and many more.
Most recently, he has been working in the titles Justice League and Superman.
Geoff Johns is a former President and Chief Creative Officer for DC and keeps working as a writer for both comic books as well as television and film.
Personal History
Johns graduated from Clarkston High School in 1991. He attended the Michigan State University where he studied media arts, screenwriting, film production and film theory. He graduated from Michigan State in 1995, and then moved to Los Angeles, California.
