Synopsis: An man wearing a ski mask crashes a rig into two government vehicles carrying explosives. Jay Garrick arrives on the scene to minimize the damage and learns that the rig was remote controlled.

Bart Allen's roommate, Griffin Grey, awakens him from a dream about his Flash heritage. They go to work at Keystone Motors, where they must walk through a picket line in front of the factory. The company had recently laid off many workers, including the 24-year veteran Thatcher, in favor of high-tech robotics.

At S.T.A.R. Labs, Tina McGee and her intern Valerie Perez discuss Bart and his unwillingness to discuss his powers with them.

Griffin takes Bart out to a club and attempts to show him how to pick up girls. Meanwhile, at Keystone Motors, the strikers are informed that the company was willing to renegotiate. Thatcher is unimpressed and walks over to his car, revealing a ski mask and explosives.

Bart awakens from another dream when Valerie comes over to his apartment to ask him in person about his connection to the Speed Force. He continues to shrug her off.

Later that day, at work, Bart and Griffin are caught in a massive explosion caused by Thatcher. Bart manages to call on the Speed Force, but finds himself out of control and unable to help his friend. Fortunately, Jay arrives on the scene to pull Griffin to safety.
